The pit was dead during their set the lead singer kept making warrior like poses as he sung. Everyone who I talked to at the New Jersey and New York City show hates them and agrees with me on it being one of the worst bands they have seen live. They sounded like pots in the kitchen being shaken and amped up with a ding wolf growling over it. They looked like old men reliving their metal dream from the 80вЂ™s. Cancer Bats were by far the worst band I have ever had to sit through. The crowd was dull and a lot of people just sat around watching and not going near the floor. No good breakdowns, you couldnвЂ™t hear any words it was just screaming and bad energy. The first band that opened before Cancer Bats were terrible. Taste Of Chaos was partly a social event, kids met up with each other after weeks of talking on MySpace and saw acquaintances and even made brand new friends.

Some of the MySpace scene kings and queens were at the show (I myself fall under that category) and local bands were there. It was a place to be known and make friends. For Cancer Bats you had a group of stoner metal heads who came out to see them, Pierce the Veil there was young teenage girls wearing their Abercrombie clothes and dark eyeliner trying to fit in being вЂњhardcore and differentвЂќ by listening to them but failing, Four Year StrongвЂ™s crowd were hardcore and scene kids, Bring Me the Horizon, attracted the scene and hardcore kids, and for Thursday the crowd were older alternative people. The bands this year on the tour did not attract all the same type of a person which is unusual because when you tour you most likely tour with bands that attract a similar crowd as you. As you walk in you see all kind different groups of people. As I was walking to the theater in Times Square I saw Bring Me the Horizon taking pictures and they were nice enough to talk to me and give me a hug even though they convey a sort of fuck off look. I went to the March 4th concert in Nokia Theater. Before Cancer Bats came out a local band played but I am sorry to say I did not catch their name and they were terrible. The bands were Cancer Bats, Pierce the Veil, Bring Me the Horizon, and Thursday. This year the tour was downsized due to the state of the economy but donвЂ™t be fooled there is four bands on the tour.

Joining the new tour will be special guests Sum 41, Emarosa and Chapel. Following their Rest In Space Tour, the band will begin their We Will Detonate! tour with back-to-back shows in Denver on April 21-22 followed by stops in Tampa, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Houston and Dallas among others.
